The Top 10 of the Second Part!
Here is th link for the 1st Part: https://www.sportsvisionplus.com/history-through-photos-1st-part/
Enjoy!!!

1. Diego Armando Maradona

According to the opinion of most of the world, football has two kings. Maybe yes, maybe not, but there is a truth here. Just like Pele against Italy in 1970, Maradona, along with the World Cup, won the eternal title in the hearts of football fans, just like Pele, after a final also with five goals, Argentina – Germany 3-2, in the same stadium, “Azteca”. Often even coincidences are stubborn!

2. Zvonimir Boban & Dinamo Zagreb vs Cervena Zvezda Belgrade match

May 13, 1990. The last hours of Yugoslavia. In Zagreb, Croatia, a high-stakes match between the local Dinamo and Crvena Zvezda is to be played.
Under the leadership of the later war criminal Zeljko Raznatovic – “Arkan”, the “Delije” group of Crvena Zvezda ultras have long been chanting nationalistic insults against Croats, which on their part are represented in the stadium by Dinamo’s BBB (Bad Blue Boys) fanatics who sing insulting verses against Serbs alongside the Croatian anthem.

Previously, in the streets of Zagreb, there were numerous clashes between them. The police are small unit and unprepared, except that they are there as a tool of the Yugoslav government…

The situation gets out of control. The Serbs of “Delije” after trying to destroy the dividing railings to hit the Dinamo fans, enter the field. The Dinamo Bad Boys enter the field as well but encounter police violence! At such a moment, a policeman severely hits a Dinamo fan who remains lying on the field. Then, Zvonimir Boban, furiously runs towards the policeman and with momentum, kicks him with a “kung fu” and knocks him to the ground…

For the Croats, the war began that afternoon at Zagreb’s “Maksimir” stadium! Also, according to the Bad Blue Boys’ dedication in a monument dedicated to their comrades, the war began that day and ended with the lives that many of them gave in the fight for Croatia’s independence!
Dinamo’s captain, Zvonimir Boban, has been a national hero of Croatia in the minds of Croatians ever since! His attack on the policeman was Croatia’s first blow and attack on Yugoslavia and Serbian hegemony.

At that beginning of the collapse of Yugoslavia, the policeman who was hit by Boban would, logically, have been the “mocked of God”! His name was Refik Ahmetovic and he was from Bosnia…

3. Jurgen Klop “the normal one”!

Four years ago, in his presentation with Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, caught the public’s attention with three expressions;
“I feel honored and very excited to be at this historic club.”

“…I am the normal one”!
“If I’m here in four years, we’ll definitely have won a title”

Modesty at its finest!

Today Jurgen Klopp is the absolute idol of the “Cop”, the passionate fans of Liverpool. His name is already a legend in the history of the club.
The Normal One, along with Guardiola, are widely regarded as the best coaches in the world. In contrast, Guardiola has only spent €80 million on 15 players he has selected and bought, in total over the past four years, and no purchases for the last season, while champions Manchester City spent another €100 million on reinforcements for the 2019-20 season.

After four years, with Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool, in addition to the two finals lost for U.E.F.A. and Champions, a second place in the Premier League with 97 points like no one else before, counts the titles won
World Champion – World Champion for Clubs
Champions League – European Champion
European Super cup – European Super cup
Premier League – Premier League Champion

4. FK Partizani

In the photo, the Albanian national Champion for the 1986-87 football season, Partizani, is presented!

It is the miracle of the work from Neptun Bajko achieved by the Italian school of Coverciano. One of the best harmonies of the “older” generation with the youth from different parts of the country and from the Partizan youth team, all studied and approved by coach Neptun Bajko.

From the golie to the attack, from the goalkeeper Perlat Musta, one of the best of all time in Albania, and other golie, Blendi Nallbani, a 15-year-old mature enough to face any challenge, if necessary…
in the defense and midfield alomgsides names as Skender Gega, Niko Frasheri, Fatmir Hasanpapa, Lorenc Leskaj, Arjan Ahmetaj, Besnik Bilali, the two “tractors” Ilir Lame and Lefter Millo, Nando Ocelli, but also the attack with Genci Tomorri, Ylli Shehu, Roland Agalliu, Edmont Kacaci, this generation of Partizani, is the champion team, ready to compete for the title again in the coming years as well as to return to European competitions at the height of the name, created in so many international matches and tournaments since the day of creation.

Precisely here, on the eve of the match against Benfica in the Champions Cup, heading fearlessly towards Lisbon, Partizan, without realizing it, was in reality heading towards the guillotine!…
The link beside for the article:”The Dark Night of Lisbona”
https://www.sportsvisionplus.com/exclusive-the-dark-night-of-lisbone-september-16-1987/

The title, as far as it was within the five-year time interval, seemed to have returned after five centuries!

Since the Lisbon evening, also after years that seemed like centuries, with a team by no means at that level but, without losing even “a gram” of dignity, Partizan is eliminated after two matches in Tirana and Rotterdam, with 0-0 and 1-0 by Feyenoord.
We will return to this story again, with the relevant analytical article.

5.  Paulo Valenti and his historic “90 Minuto”!

Paulo Valenti (1922-1990)
Novantesimo minuto!
The 90th minute!

We are heading towards 90. In football, it’s those ten minutes, those last ten steps, from 80′ to 90′. Those minutes who take the fan “to heaven or hell”.

Albania has just entered the last decade of communist system. Those are the ten years, from 1980 to 1990. First a little differently, those are the last ten steps towards,. democracy. Italy entered this decade as World Champions in football. It is only the beginning of more than a decade of glamor of the Italian football championship, Serie A.

Almost all the stars of the world are there to give that championship a light like never before. Socrates, Falcao, Alemao, Elkjaer, Briegel, Pasarella, Platini, Boniek, Rrummenigge, Zico, Maradona, Gulit,  van Basten… all the stars of the world are there, every Sunday. The stadiums are full. On every television, on Sundays, immediately after the matches, only the show “90 Minuto” is shown……..read the full article here: https://www.sportsvisionplus.com/paulo-valenti-and-his-show-90-minuto/

6. Dinamo, women’s volleyball team, pride of Albanian sports!

7. Ronaldinho and Pirlo!

“The Smile of Football” and “The Maestro” Two icons of football! Of the sport that is supposed to be the joy of the poor, just as Garrincha deserved his epithet. Today, without Pirlo and Ronaldinho, football has lost its elegance, beauty but also its smile. The rest are just television……

8. John Cruyff and the “Adidas” jersey with two stripes!

The Netherlands remained in memory as the Moral Winner of the 1974 World Cup. It is considered that it brought football to a much higher level than before. Its strange jersey, due to its special orange color, became synonymous with beautiful football! Just as Johan Cruyff’s strange “adidas” jersey with number 14, with two of the three significant “adidas” stripes, remained forever in memory. Here is the moment to break the silence about this mystery, about the complete “adidas” uniform, underwear and jersey but with two and not three Cruyff stripes.

Johan Cruyff, the absolute star of his time, the elegant and charming young man who looked more like a music star, the footballer who first broke the million dollar mark in purchases, had a special symbol with “puma”. He himself was the best advertisement for the company and especially for the “puma king” football boots.

Thus, forced to wear an “adidas” uniform with the national team, he thought of removing one stripe from his jersey and shorts, and since he did not participate in the subsequent Argentina World Cup 1978 , he remained legendary for his “adidas” shirt with two stripes, which, even today after 46 years, is one of the most sought-after purchases via the internet from platforms like Amazon, eBay or online stores!

However, four years later the van der Kerkhof twins would also appear with the same “model” shirt, but this hardly caught anyone’s attention. They could not have the radiant power of a star like Johan Cruyff!

9. The fate of penalties!
The End…

The ball ended up over the goal, near the left triangle. Just like Socrates and Platini’s penalties in the past. Maybe football stars make mistakes like this. Trying to get to the triangle when the ball weighs a ton!
Nobody knows that…

Before Italian football star Robbie Baggio left towards America for the 1994 World Cup, his spiritual teacher Buddha predicted what was to come, telling him that he would face many difficulties and everything would be decided at the end of everything!

Of course, at that moment, Roberto Baggio could not have understood how prophetic his teacher’s words were.

10 . Tommie Smith and the Black Power!

The 200m medal ceremony, 1968 Olympic Games.
In the photo, Tommie Smith, the gold medalist, and the bronze medalist, John Carlos, both with their fists raised.

With black gloves to demonstrate black power and without shoes, wearing only black socks, to testify to their blindness!

The silver medalist, Australian Peter Norman, in a sign of solidarity, like Smith and Carlos, wears the emblem of the Olympic Project for Human Rights on his jacket.

Racism, the contempt for black people and the deprivation of many rights in society, had reached its peak. The rebellion of people of color against this phenomenon continues today.
